Developing Opportunities for the Vulnerable in Africa, (DOVA) is a capacity building Non Governmental Organization. DOVA is currently in full operation in Rivers State, Nigeria and is beginning an operation in Liberia.

DOVA is run by experienced African professionals in the Diaspora and in Africa. (View their profiles )

These professionals span 3 generations; and have first hand experience with the issues that confront the vulnerable in Africa and they have vast experience in the Public, Private and Voluntary sector.

DOVA was built on the foundation that when given the opportunity, the vulnerable will rise to the occasion and will realize their potential, . Dova seeks to engage the vulnerable in Africa, in an attempt to assist them in acquiring the necessary skills and resources to sustain their own social and economic progress.

DOVA aims build bridges with the vulnerable in Africa to ensure a process of continuous learning and innovation. In other words, DOVA seeks to increase the ability of the vulnerable to help themselves.

DOVA believes in liaising with other Non Governmental Organizations in Africa and in the Diaspora in achieving her goal of building the capacity of the vulnerable in Africa.
