Mr. Solomon Myers, is a Political Scientist and Historian. He studied at Carleton University and the University of Liberia. He was born in Buchanan, Liberia and currently resides in Ottawa, Canada.
Mr. Myers worked as a businessman in Liberia; his excellent management skills became evident when he managed a multi-million dollar company.
He was forced into exile due to the Liberian Civil war; however, Mr. Myers has kept his deep passion about improving the plight of the vulnerable in his nation through the years.
With the end of the war in Liberia, Mr. Myers decided to extend DOVAfrica's reach to the shores of Liberia and build bridges with the vulnerable in Liberia.
Mrs. Ima Myers, is a Mathematician and Computer Programmer. She studied Physics at the University of Port Harcourt, in Nigeria before completing her studies at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
Mrs. Myers was born in Ottawa, Canada and she has traveled widely and lived in several countries in West Africa.
Mrs. Myers has worked extensively in the private, public and voluntary sector in various capacities.
After having first hand experience of the trials so many face in West Africa, Mrs. Myers' was spurred to get involved in assisting the vulnerable children, women and youth in West Africa in meeting their potential.
Honorable Charles Williams was a superintendent of various counties in Liberia. He served as an Ambassador; and also as a Senior Senator of Grand Bassa Country, Liberia.
Hon. Williams was a statesman extraordinaire. When he served as superintendent, Hon. Williams built much needed facilities and earned wide recognition for his work on improving the lives of so many.
Hon. Williams remains admired and respected for the leadership role he played and his excellent record as a civil servant. He is said to have played crucial roles in the political, educational, and religious
transformations of the Bassa people and Liberia in general.
Hon. Charles Williams currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his family. DOVAfrica is honored to have Mr. Williams on the Board of Governors.

Dr. M. P. Okonny, holds a Ph.D. in Education (Syracuse University, NY - 1976), and his career spans the private, public and voluntary sector.
Dr. Okonny has headed and worked on numerous international projects with various international and national NGOs and has run an inner city school in Port Harcourt, Nigeria since 1982. His contribution to his community, over the years, is widely respected.
He has worked hard in not only imparting knowledge, but also in assisting less privileged youth in attaining their potential. Dr. Okonny has worked with youth as a mentor, and has helped them achieve self-confidence, self-reliance and discipline - skills which eventually lead to these youths adapting and contributing positively to their communities.
Dr. Okonny has also assisted in scholarships and various forms of sponsorship for youth from low income families, and has been involved in various projects to assist widows and the less privileged in Rivers State, Nigeria.
We are honored to have Dr. Okonny on DOVAfrica's board of Governors; and also as the head of the Education Branch in Port Harcourt.

Mr. Kitoye Okonny

Mr. Kitoye Okonny is a computer professional and Mathematician.
His work experience spans the private, public and voluntary sector. Mr. Okonny is widely traveled and has run a subsided computer training school for the past 6 years. Mr. Okonny is the coordinator of DOVAfrica's operations in Port Harcourt; he is also the head of the Information Technology Branch in Port Harcourt.
Mr. Okonny has worked with various international organization and brings with him vast experience and skills.We are pleased to have Mr. Okonny working with us.

Dr. Henry Ugboma is a practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Rivers State, Nigeria.
Dr. Ugboma has worked as a lecturer and consultant, and has been active on many medical boards. For example, Dr. Ugboma has served as president of the Nigerian Medical Association, in Rivers State.
Dr Ugboma has published documents on several issues that effect the health of mothers in Rivers State; and has first hand experience in these issues, ranging from the problems associated with the inadequate treatment of Genital Prolapse in women in Rivers State, to the correlation between abdominal massage and maternal mortality.
Dr. Ugboma currently heads DOVAfrica's health branch in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Dr. Enighe Ugboma is a medical doctor practicing in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Dr. E. Ugboma has worked in the major hospitals in Rivers State, and has experienced the significant health issues faced in that area. She has written extensively on Female Genital Mutilation(FGM). FGM is still widely performed on girls and women in certain areas of Rivers State.
Dr. E. Ugboma is an asset to DOVAfrica, and she currently works with DOVAfrica's health branch as the head of women's health.

Mr. Reginald Brooks is a lawyer based in Monrovia, Liberia.
Mr. Brooks a gem to DOVAfrica's Liberia operations. He is the coordinator and head of operations of DOVAfrica in Liberia. DOVAfrica has worked with Mr Brooks to set up the Providence Mission of Faith Center, Inc. in Monrovia Liberia.
Mr. Brooks works as a Lawyer in Monrovia, Liberia. He has extensive experience in the public and private sector in Liberia. He has been an active community builder and has worked with groups in improving social conditions in Liberia.

Mr. Herbert Kieh, is a Biologist and instructor in Monrovia, Liberia.
Mr. Kieh has worked with youth in Monrovia, Liberia as an educator. Mr. Kieh has experienced the daunting issues that face children in Liberia that were born and grew up during the civil war that engulfed Liberia.
Mr. Kieh currently heads DOVAfrica's education branch in Monrovia, Liberia.
